Here are a couple of interesting Doctor Who stuff that caught my eye today.
Check out this parody that Youtube user TheThirstyHirsty has done of Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” titled “For Fifty Years.” Some fantastic work here, I wish I has some actual talent to make masterpieces like this.

I have been getting way to excited for Sunday. Actual conversation at work today as follows.
Co-worker: So, Sunday eh . . . Doctor Who in 3D?

Series Two of BBC Three’s Bad Education will premiere on Tuesday September 3rd, or Wednesday Sept 4th for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere. The show is centered around Alfie Wickers, possibly Abbey Grove high school’s single most incompetent teacher, and his ragtag class of pupils.
Who’s excited? We are! Do you have any particular favourite students? I think they’re all hilarious. I think a rewatch of the first series, before the second series begins, is in order.
I have clocked it. Really, I have. I went to Apple HQ today, it was awesome. Unfortunately you need to know someone to get inside the buildings but I got some nice photos outside. There is also the company store which sells apple branded T-shirts, souvenirs etc. I got asked by the attendant if I worked at Apple which was a total fan girl moment.
Then, it was off to Google HQ where everyone had ID attached but I might have just walked in. I was scared of getting caught so ran around and took as many photos as I can. I saw everyone on those Google bicycles. It was awesome. Heaven. Went past the cafeteria and saw everyone eating and nearly everyone had different type of cuisine. Amazing!
Driving through Silicon Valley is awesome. You see all these companies whose products that you use everyday. Saw Yahoo, Intel, Evernote, Oracle just on the side of the road. This is my kind of sightseeing.
Saw the garage which is said to be the birthplace of Silicon Valley.
Then drove to Santa Rosa which is like wine country to visit some family. Stopped at this amazing street where the street itself is called Factory Outlets. Bought some Nike shoes and T-Shirts for my brothers, a Guess watch for myself and some Italian Leather shoes for work (fancy).
We have driven all over San Fran today. Seen a lot of the countryside. And went over Golden Gate Bridge again which I loved.
Guys, something has happened to me. My balance is out. Nearly fell out of the bed this morning and turned around in the store and nearly knocked the display over. Laugh away, although Mata has laughed enough for all of you! Not my fault I am like Lucille II. (Arrested Development jokes FTW).
Yeah, I went to a couple of malls today. And I was so scared of falling over that I bought a pair of jeans and ran home to take a nap. (Mata interjecting here: What kind of LOGIC? Jeans?!)
So today as promised I will just upload some photos of other stuff I did yesterday.
Went to the Palace of Fine Arts. This area was built originally to accommodate the exhibitions for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915.
Also, walked up hill to go to Lombard Street and walked down this street- famous for being one of the world’s crooked streets due to its steepness. Obviously the steepest street in the title goes to…
Also, walked through China Town and saw a bunch of frogs on sale. It was disgusting. I did not take a photo cos’ it was ugh.
Also, went to a beautiful cathedral.
Nearly broke my leg today when I went to take a shower and the lights were on automatic and it shut down. And I was without clothes in a dark bathroom without my bearings. Yeah, no day is complete without me going through something stupid.

Does any remember this amazing theme song? Anyone? Yes, this is the Full House theme song and I think an appropriate quote to start my post about San Francisco.
Drove along Pier 39 today. Really cool seeing all the seafood stalls. I was a bit short of time so unfortunately could not stay long.
Then it was off to the ferry terminal which has a gourmet food market. Loads of oils and cheeses and even a shop that just sells mushrooms.
Got on the ferry to go to Sausalito which is a seaside town on the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge. This town has a sort of Devonport vibe with all it’s speciality shops. Absolutely amazing views from the ferry and from Sausalito.
Went to a restaurant here as well where this customer got angry at the waiter and threatened him. He yelled for a good five minutes and then runs off and says I will show you why you should not mess with me. This is when I thought this guy was going to take a gun and shoot up the place. Lol, what a sad way to die. But he never came back! Sweet relief!
Then, it was off to the Golden Gate Bridge. We drove over it and then went to see it from a viewpoint. The view is just amazing, I could sit here all day.
I then went and saw the Painted Ladies which most of you will know from the Full House theme song.

Also did a bunch of other stuff which I will post tomorrow cos’ my plan for tomorrow at the moment is to go the mall. Yup, cool story bro!

P.S. This post is dedicated to Sam. (@samsuth1 on Twitter). He went to San Francisco on holiday and did not visit the Golden Gate Bridge. Yeah, I don’t know what he was doing either.
Also, If you are wondering why I am wearing a jumper in these photos, it was really freezing on the ferry and then I did not want to carry it around later so just kept on wearing it. Go on and see what else I’ve been up to overseas!
Vancouver is so beautiful. Just look at these photos and see what I am seeing cos’ no words. Most were taken from a boat ride that I took across the harbour.
Went to Science World in the afternoon and there was this hamster wheel thing that you run on. I went on without instructions and started running and got stuck. And I was yelling for help. So embarrassing until a kid came and looked at me and pointed to the instructions. I was to just let go off one of the safety bars and it would stop. It was very embarrassing.
Went Tim Hortons again, I am in love with this place. Medium Iced Cappuccinos for $2.50, and they are nearly as big as our large in Auckland.
And as requested while I walked around Granville Island market, I took photos of food. That’s all half of you want to see. Food! Can’t say I blame you though!
